Some encouraging news.
Really glad they did this research - especially because YouGov is a credible, well-regarded, and fairly accurate pollster. They're one of the most prominent polling organizations in the UK. So it's not like just anyone is giving these numbers - you can have a fair amount of confidence in them.
Given British media and assholes online, I definitely would not have called that cis lesbians and cis bisexuals are tied for most supportive of trans people. Very, very nice to hear.

Seriously though, kids these days are so eager to lick boot and call it rebellion. If you say unalive instead of kill because you'll lose your funding, congratz, you let them censor you. "They'lltake away our revenue!" And? Rebellion comes with consequences, change is a fight, protecting your values comes at a cost.
If you never pull at the leash, it doesn't matter how much you bark, you're still going where they want you to.
Also once again, as a millennial who remembers all the creative misspellings we had to come up with to get around Neopets forums word censors, how Something Awful had its own entire lexicon of words and phrases like that, it’s bizarre to me that Gen Z really thinks they are the first to go through this. At least for us it wasn’t something we were doing for money.

All of the arguing within this post is saddening. Every generation has their own slang and reasoning for it. Why the fuck are we bickering about this? What's the point?
This kind of petty arguing only fuels generational hatred, which creates bigger divides between us, something corporations want!!!
It's true that there's a lot of arguing between generations in this thread, but it also seems important to recognize that most of the argument is done towards the goal of pointing gen z at the corporations.
I can see how it could be more polite and some parts of it come off as petty, but the fourth and fifth posts are pretty focused at highlighting the ways corporations have been sterilizing the internet and selling it as "punk", and in that sense I think not arguing about it at all is also something corporations want.
